Birthday Parties

Enjoy a fun filled birthday at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum!

Choose one of four themes:

  • Cars Cars Cars! - Explore the early years of transportation while hunting for treasure!
  • Barrel Rolls and Belly Laughs - Discover the thrill of early aviation.
  • Start Your Engines - for ages 9 to 12 Design and build your own race car.
  • Horses, Hay and Tractors - Fun with old time games and a farm related craft to take home.

All Birthday Parties include:

  • two hours of staff-led activities (crafts and games)
  • use of private room for cake and presents
  • goodie bag for each child

Ages: 5 to 12 (activities are not suitable for children under 5).
Program Length: 2 hours of guided programs, 1 hour room rental.
Supervision: 2 adults per 10 children.
Cost: $12.50 per child includes free admission for two adults (minimum $125).
Any additional adults pay regular admission rates.
Meals: available through the Cruisers Café for an additional charge. (Bring your own cake).
Birthday parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Cadet Program

Program includes:

  • Welcome Orientation
  • 15-minute audiovisual presentation Changing Gears or Stan Reynolds: The Great Collector
  • Tour of the Aviation Display Hangar and Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame
  • Access to the Main Gallery
  • A ride in a vintage vehicle (Available May 15 to Aug 30)

$12 per person.


Choose from one of three themes:

  • Classic Cars - A transportation theme
  • Kites and Crashes - An early aviation theme (ages 7 & up)
  • Blast Off! - The future of aviation, jets and rockets
  • Homesteaders Boot Camp - life on the early prairies

Sleepovers include:

  • staff-led interactive programs
  • a craft to make and take home
  • a treasure hunt with a prize for each child
  • games
  • buffet breakfast

Available September through February.
Ages 5 to 14 (please note activities are not suitable for children under 5).
$62 per person or $74 per person if you add supper.
A ratio of 1 adult per 5 children is required.
Minimum of 20 children.

Sleepovers must be booked at least two months in advance.

Youth Group Programs

This year our Youth Day Program celebrates Canadian ingenuity, inventors and leaders that helped shape Canada. We offer guided hands-on activities and opportunities to explore the museum to ensure your group will have a fun, educational experience. This program includes:

  • Admission to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum
  • Welcome Orientation
  • "Work the Line" in the Factory Game
  • Enjoy our Scavenger Hunt
  • Take a ride in a vintage vehicle
  • Colour a postcard to celebrate Canada’s 150th and we will mail it home for you! (bring your mailing address)

Allow for a minmum of 4 hours at the Museum
